The Making of Leica M9-P Hermes Edition.
Smoke & Minors
Something so intriguingly beautiful but yet morbid. Love it!
These photos were created by Belgain photographer Frieke Janssens. A series appropriately titled “Smoking Kids” was set out to bring awareness to the viral epidemic of children smoking. (uhhh…epidemic?)
“To assure you of the safety of the children, there were no real cigarettes on set. Instead, chalk and sticks of cheese were the prop stand ins, while candles and incense provided the wisps of smoke. “
Thank god no one inhaled! Lay off the cancer stick kids.
It’s NOT cool.

Amazing! Props to that one Art History major working at MAC who suggested this and won! Better then Disney characters + Wonder Woman collabo.
Someone worth looking up to who is a respectable artist!
Not everything is so black & white…

Daily Dose of Inspiration: Alex Prager
Miss Alex Prager is just another amazing female photographer that I find OH SO inspiring! She tugs at my heart with her dramatic settings, great lighting, amazing wigs, to die for makeup, and her always perfect retro attired betty’s. Her inspirations come from Pulp Fiction (GASP!), Alfred Hitchcock (AH!), and fashion photography (EEP!), so YES basically we’re meant to be BFF’s!
Her photos can be seen as movie stills cut right out of a film. They all lead you into a story then let you decided the ending. This type of photography is something I am VERY fond of to say the least!
Her use of location and detail gives me chills. Perfect in every way.
Oh and did I mention she’s self-taught! So needless to say I would totally love to eat her brains….
Want more? Thought so.
Check out more of her stuff here.
P.S She also dipped into directing in 2010. DUH It was bound to happen! Only a 4 minute short but very beautiful and I hope she does more!
