Finding your niche…

The hardest part of being an artist is finding your niche. The way you deliver + edit is crucial to how others will define you and your masterpiece. An ID tag of sorts, but like an amazing staple to an outfit these things are key pieces to the bigger picture. There’s always that one brush stroke, that one cut, that one shot that will single you out from the crowd and make it yours (and only yours).

Here are some amazing directors who have owned their niche from day one. Can’t help but get goosebumps watching these clips. Cinematic legends who have paved the way for cinematic dreamers like me…

Kubrick // One-Point Perspective from kogonada on Vimeo.

Sounds of Aronofsky from kogonada on Vimeo.

Tarantino // From Below from kogonada on Vimeo.

Wes Anderson // From Above from kogonada on Vimeo.

Kudos to kogonada who edited these and basically made my day.

All you need for a movie is a gun and a girl.
